Just as Nintendo's Virtual Console subscribers get an update every other week, so do Xbox Live users and this week, owners of an Xbox 360 console should look for Every Extend Extra Extreme, an explosive puzzle-shooter and Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe, a remake of a great futuristic sports game,
on Xbox Live Marketplace. The two games go live on Wednesday 17th October, going for 800 MS Pts.
Also, this week, gamers shouldn't miss out the new downloadable content for Lumines Live!, including Heavenly Star and Breeze Skins. The respective DLC will be available for free to all Gold Members, starting Wednesday 17th October, ending Thursday 15th November. Fanatics can also download the Rockin' Holiday Pack for the same game, but this one will set them back some 400 MS Pts. Also, starting Wednesday 17th October, the Standard Edition will be available permanently at a discounted price of 800 Microsoft Points!
Every Extend Extra Extreme (Q Entertainment) - frenetic race for survival:
With 100 times more enemies and chain reactions than its predecessor, the objective of this unique action-packed shooter is to set off a chain reaction to wipe out enemies and collect the items they leave behind to extend the game. The game features five distinct game modes including Main mode, Wiz Ur Muzik mode, VS mode, Time Attack Mode and a genuine shooting mode. In Wiz Ur Muzik mode, players can customize the gameplay experience using their favorite music.
Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe (Bitmap Brothers and Empire Interactive) - fast-paced, brutal game:
Gamers can choose classic 2-D graphics or go full on with the newly enhanced high definition 3-D visuals. Smash your way to the top of the league in the solo game or go head-to-head locally on Xbox LIVE. The game features 32 teams, four leagues, cup and knockout competitions, team enhancements, management and training options, and Ranked Preset or Ranked Career games.
Remember, Every Extend Extra Extreme and Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe will be available for 800 Pts each on Wednesday (tomorrow), as full downloadable games via Xbox Live Marketplace. Also, fans of Lumines Live! will be getting some new DLC on the same day, consisting of Heavenly Star and Breeze Skins: available for free to all Gold members. Rockin' Holiday Pack will be available for 400 MS points from Wednesday 17th October, with the Standard Edition available at 800 MS points.
