The promotion is set to kick off in February with a second wave of titles

Microsoft and Nokia are fully committed to Windows Phone operating system and are trying to attract customers from other platforms by any means necessary. For this, but also ‘by popular demand’ “Xbox LIVE Must Have Games” campaign is back and ready to kick off next month.

 

Starting February Windows Phone users will get the chance to play one of the upcoming titles offered through “Xbox LIVE Must Have Games,” complete with Xbox LIVE Achievements, Leaderboards and other.

 

Microsoft’s Major Nelson made it public that the second wave of “Must Have Games” will be released each week of February. The offer comprises three titles from Microsoft Studios, a Gameloft title and a game developed by Electronic Arts.

 

“BulletAsylum” from Microsoft Studios is an addicted arcade shooter that challenges players to fight and annihilate alien invaders using “a wall of firepower.”  The game features crisp and vivid graphics and quite a lot of aliens to destroy.

 

Microsoft Studios’ “Chickens Can’t Fly” puts players in the role of a scientist to see what chickens are capable of. The game offers a quite a lot of fun as players have to avoid obstacles, use power-ups and power-downs while they fall down an experimental pit.

There’s also a Survival Mode available which allows player to compare their high scores on the Xbox LIVE and global leaderboards.

 

“Toy Soldiers: Boot Camp” by Microsoft Studios brings the addictive shooting gallery mini-games from Xbox 360’s “Toy Soldiers: Cold War.”

 

Gameloft’s “Splinter Cell Conviction” doesn’t need any presentations. The players take the role of renegade agent Sam Fisher and fight a corrupted secret agency to get his daughter back.

 

Another game that will be offered during this promotion is Electronic Arts’ “Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.” The game includes 20 cars and a total of 48 Cop and Racer Career Events.
