Xbox LIVE Black Friday One-Day Only Specials Now Live

As promised, Microsoft unveiled steep discounts for Xbox content today, November 26th, 2010.

The Redmond company has already been offering Xbox LIVE promotions, but it saved the most consistent deals for Black Friday.

The software giant had noted earlier this week that gamers would be able to enjoy discounts of as much as 80% on select Arcade favorites, Xbox Originals and game add-ons.

However, unlike the week-long discounts the latest promotion is only available for US’ busiest shopping day of the year.

“Today is Black Friday and we’ve just rolled out some special one-day only sales with pretty big savings for all Xbox LIVE Members around the world,” revealed Larry Hryb, the director of programming for the Microsoft gaming network Xbox Live.

“Not near your console but still want in on the deals? Don’t worry, purchase the items on Xbox.com using the below links [check at the bottom of the article] and when you get back to your console your items will be in your download queue.”

Users can simply head to the "Black Friday" Marketplace Discounts webpage in order to access the discounts offered by the Redmond company.

Of course, there are additional discounts offered to customers on the Thanksgiving Sales and Specials page for Xbox.

As early as November 23rd, at the start of this week, Microsoft has been offering discounted game add-ons; Zune movies; Arcade games and Avatar accessories.

There items will contue to be available at promotional prices until Cyber Monday at the start of the coming week.

In contrast, the Xbox LIVE Black Friday One-Day Only Specials will only be offered to customers on November 26th.

It’s important to note that the Xbox LIVE Black Friday One-Day Only Specials are designed for the US market, and as such users worldwide will not have access to the same deals.
