Microsoft has announced a premium downloadable content bundle for its next-generation launch title, Perfect Dark Zero, offering a single and multiplayer demo for those yet to purchase the game and exclusive additions for existing fans.

Almost six months after the game hit shelves and rekindled gamers' affections for the female secret agent Joanna Dark, the Rare developed game is set for a host of enhancements and upgrades,
as well as a free demo to entice more consumers to make that full-price purchase.

The free Xbox Live Marketplace downloads will include a demo featuring the Outpost campaign level, supporting single player, split-screen and Xbox Live co-op modes, and a multi-player demo that includes a new map called the Plaza.

Additional free updates include new AI bots, such as the bully bot that attacks players with the least kills, the venge bot that hunts down the last player to kill it and the judge bot, which will seek out and attack the player with the current highest kill rate.

Premium content, a price-point for which has yet to be set, includes four new multi-player maps.

The Xbox Live Marketplace continues to be a success for Microsoft, achieving over 10m content downloads to date, including casual games via the Xbox Live Arcade service. In addition to the stream of premium game downloads such as new levels, characters and multiplayer maps, Microsoft is expanding the service to include movie trailers, music downloads and a host of online tournaments and competitions.
