Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, or how to benefit from excellent publicity

Ever since Microsoft decided to attack frontally by launching Xbox 360 on MTV instead of E3, as everybody expected, the information about Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo have been on the front page of publications all around the world.

Truth is after carefully analyzing all that has been said, the only real information about Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo are the details related to the technical specifications and the list of games for Xbox 360 plus Nintendo’s desire to satisfy the needs of the casual players.

We know nothing of the price, have no idea about the launching date, yet everybody talks about the war between Microsoft and Sony and whether Nintendo will stand a chance or not.
Obviously, the war of the next generation consoles is not related anymore just to games, but to the next entertainment hub the consumer will be willing to accept.

And while gamers argue about the next generation console, Microsoft and Sony congratulate their marketing and PR departments for a job well done, because gamer or just spectator, we all want to get our hands on one of them.
