Despite not confirming an official price cut for its Xbox 360 or Kinect, Microsoft has rolled out a variety of holiday bundles in the U.S. with lower prices.

Sony has recently released a redesigned PlayStation 3 that quickly attracted lots of new customers.

Now, Microsoft is countering its rival’s move by rolling out special holiday offers consisting of different Xbox 360 and Kinect bundles that have lower prices by $50 (around €38.7) at various retailers, like GameStop, Amazon or Best Buy.

These bundles include the 250GB or 4GB Xbox 360 versions, as well as the Kinect sensor, plus an array of different games, depending on the package.

Some of the titles bundled in these packs are Kinect-only ones, like Kinect Adventures, as well as Forza Motorsport 4, Fable 3, Halo: Reach, or digital vouchers for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

It’s unclear just how long these bundles will be available but you can expect them to last well into the winter holidays.
