Xbox who?

The SuperBrands group recently compiled a list of cool brands and the major next-gen consoles were included too. Turns out that the only console that allows you to play Halo 3 right now is not that cool of a gaming device. Sony and Nintendo are way cooler, according to the polls, as they've reached the top 20 of the coolest brands.

2000 British youngsters took part in the survey and the PlayStation placed immediately below the acclaimed Google brand. Sony's trademark console brand placed sixth, while Nintendo was only the ninth, still doing extremely well, compared to the Xbox. Microsoft's console ranked below Amazon or even a chocolate maker, Green & Black. You might be wondering which brand was number 1 in the survey and you'll be surprised to find out that Aston Martin is considered the coolest brand by British youngsters.

After all, it's the coolest car on the market and the one used by the British trademark agent, James Bond. Aston Martin was followed by iPod, Apple's best-selling music player and YouTube, the video service that needs no introduction. It seems logical that the Nintendo and Playstation are way above the Xbox on the list, as the first two have many years of experience and millions of fans and worshipers, while Microsoft's gaming device is even now, a newcomer.

Let's do this poll again, but this time, after Halo 3's launch and after the release of a couple of Square-Enix RPG-s designed for the Xbox 360. I bet that the brand won't make the top 20, but still it will rank higher this time, hopefully beating the chocolate makers. Is the "Red Rind of Death" a brand yet? It would be fun
