Whoever said that the Xbox 360 is far better than any other console out there is probably right. From what I can see, Microsoft is one step ahead of the game, especially when it comes to downloadable content.

You all know the Xbox Live
system, and its large download possibilities. Now, the Xbox downloading universe will become much, much bigger as Microsoft revealed the 360 video lineup. By this new service, you will be able to download your favorite TV series and movies onto your 360's hard drive.

If you like CSI, Star Trek, Drawn Together, South Park, Punk'd, Wonder Showzen (greeeaat show) and Chappelle's Show and want them for your own private enjoyment, you will have to cough up some US$ 2 dollars for an episode. This US$ 2 price is set for standard definition episodes while the high definition ones will cost US$ 3. Once your download is complete you will get to keep the content for as long as you like, with the option of re-downloading any content you purchased, should you delete it by accident.

If you just hate TV shows and consider yourself a fan of blockbuster movies, you will also have the possibility of downloading some big titles but mind that the cinematic movies are only for rental. Your download will expire in two weeks time and you will have to pay the downloading fee again, should you decide that you just can't live without that specific movie. You will get to choose from big titles such as V for Vendetta, Natural Born Killers, The Matrix, 9 1/2 Weeks, Analyze This and many, many more. Enjoy!
