Xbox 360 - Learn What Ubisoft Uses to Create 'Dark Messiah Might & Magic: Elements'

With the help of Menus Master, the game user interface can be fully authored

Omegame has just announced today that Ubisoft uses Menus Master to author the user interface of Dark Messiah Might & Magic: Elements, for Microsoft's Xbox 360. What Menus Master does is that to help artists and programmers to dramatically reduce the time it takes to author any sophisticated game user interfaces: 2D and 3D front-ends, in-game UIs and heads-up displays
(HUD).

Using Menus Master, the game user interface can be fully authored by artists, without any need for a programmer's assistance. Dark Messiah Might & Magic: Elements will allow Xbox 360 gamers worldwide to experience the brutal combat, highly detailed interactive environments and dark atmosphere that won the hearts of thousands of PC players, while building and expanding the experience in several areas.

"Menus Master added power and flexibility to our user interface development process" said Daniel Palix, Producer in charge of Dark Messiah Might & Magic: Elements, "it was critical in allowing the development team to quickly and easily make a lot of changes, even deep ones, in order to obtain the best user interface".

Of course, it doesn't look like it's such a big deal (but it is, otherwise I wouldn't have started writing the news in the first place). Menus... Since when do menus require that much work?
