Now that
Microsoft is actually starting to care about its customers and fix all the issues regarding overheating units, disc scratching units and so on,
Xbox 360 gamers are in for another treat. This time around, MaxConsole is reporting that XCM is prepping to make an
HDMI cable available for both Core and Premium SKUs of the Xbox 360. That's right, the white one that you own.
Naturally
Elite gamers
have it already going on, but for those stuck with the Core and Premium models of the Xbox 360 from Microsoft, things are looking better and better with each day that passes. Those who made inhuman efforts of raising enough money to get an Elite at launch, must be scratching their eyes at the sound of this.
One of the Elite's additional features (compared to the original Xbox 360) was none other than HDMI output, if I'm not mistaken. Now that XCM is preparing to roll an HDMI cable enabling Xbox 360 users to output a 1080p signal to big screens, who needs an Elite? What, the extra storage space...? Give me a break!
XCM are best known for making replacement console cases, but they also make available other peripherals for video game consoles, as they're also reporting that they will be manufacturing a 1/2 size version of a Guitar Hero controller. They say it will be compatible with both the
PS2 and Xbox 360 consoles, but an adapter will have to be used: "XFPS Mini Guitar --- This is half the size of the original one, easy to carry and best choice for gamers, using the real guitar wood for authentic gameplay. This unit must be used with the XFPS 360 when you wish to use it on the Xbox 360. It is also compatible with the PS2."
I have to say that owning an Xbox 360 now is just as good as owning a PS3. No wait, even better, I forgot about Xbox Live.
