Seeing this title - "First Teaser Video For FlatOut Ultimate Carnage (Xbox 360)" I said to myself: "Oh great, another teaser that doesn't say anything about the game itself, but it's out and no matter what, I have to write about it." Bugbear Entertainment did indeed release a teaser for the Xbox 360 exclusive action racer, but this is not your ordinary teaser. Scroll down for a glimpse at what's coming later this summer.

Aside from the first teaser video for the eagerly anticipated action racer FlatOut Ultimate Carnage, 3D screenshots showcasing the game's amazing level of vehicular destruction were also released. You can check them out on the official Bugbear website.

"The working title for the FlatOut Ultimate Carnage teaser was 'smashing expectations'. Street racing games are all about pimping your ride with spoilers, fat rims and whatevers," said Jussi Laakkonen, business development director for Bugbear Entertainment. "FlatOut on the other hand is all about action. So when FlatOut does street racing, we do it with the sole purpose of wrecking those pimped up rides to unrecognizable lumps of charred metal."

And here's why the video for Flatout Ultimate Carnage looks more like a trailer for the game, rather than a teaser:

"The 'expectations' part of the teaser is where the camera obsesses about the red lead car," continued Jussi Laakkonen. "This part is inspired by all those street racing trailers that seem inescapable. The car looks lovingly crafted, beautiful, fast and straight out of a street racing show. The 'smashing' part is what makes FlatOut what it is. An all out destruction racer. The viewer is treated to a pile-up of epic proportions to show why FlatOut earns the Ultimate Carnage subtitle with its Xbox 360 premier. "

Everything you see in the video is in-game action, so prepare yourselves for the hottest summer ever, as Flatout Ultimate Carnage launches exclusively for the Xbox 360 this June. Check out the teaser below.
