Xbox 360 Can't Handle Rockstar's LA Noire

We have quite a list of games that the PS3 can't handle, or better said that the titles' developers refuse to port to Sony's next-gen device. However, while the Xbox 360 seems more flexible in this aspect, it turns out that LA Noire is a victim of the console's incompatibility with its...size.
LA Noire is a Rockstar free-roaming title, probably a GTA clone and it will allow the
gamer to experience the atmosphere of LA back in 1947. Much attention was paid to details and even the clothing of the characters matches the long-gone days of gangsters and alcohol contraband. You'll be playing an US Marine and according to the folks at Rockstar, the game will include side-missions which are re-creations of the real cases from the above-mentioned time period.
In other words, LA Noire can be considered an "interactive detective story", with a classic "noir" setting, defining the 1940s. You can check out the trailer below for more details and you'll find yourself transported to the world of crime thrillers, while plunging into a dark atmosphere. Rockstar works with Team Bondi, the Australian developer of the game, hoping to be able to deliver a non-GTA-copycat and a blockbuster, on an yet unknown platform.
I'm betting on the PS3 right now to host such jazz-flavored criminal activities. Picture this as the noir version of Mafia, or at least that's what it seems to me. In the meantime, I must say that I'm surprised to see Sony's gaming device "stealing" the title from Microsoft's Xbox 360...if the rumors are true. Well, it can be called "returning the favor", since Metal Gear Solid 4 appears to have departed from the Sony universe and now it has jumped straight into the 360 bandwagon.
The Xbox 360 is * * . Lets face it, the reason that some production companies and game developers stay away from working on the PS3 platform is because it is a much more complex and much more powerful machine and these so called titans of the game industry cannot yet fathom how to master or even comprehend the full potential of the PS3 so they settle for a much more watered down version and easier machine, one that sounds like your very own washing machine right next to your TV. The Xbox 360. And in so far as Sony stealing titles, lets take a look at the facts shall we? What's been around longer Sony Playstation or Microsofts Xbox? And what platform did most games, that share compatibility on both consoles, start out on? That's right, the Playstation. Microsoft are the thieves as Bill * Gates bought out the majority shares in rockstargames and told them after the sales of GTA IV to hold exclusive rights to the follow up game pack titles; The Lost and Damned and The Ballard of Gay Tony as Microsoft knew that if Sony had these titles, they would lose on sales just as they did with GTA IV itself. The shops will show you that when you have titles on both consoles 80% of the time the title sells more on the Playstation. And Just one last note, that Metal Gear Solid comment is * . The Xbox have managed to secure two titles of the Metal Gear series whereas Sony have successfully, with an outstanding partnership between Kojima productions and Konami, released every MGS title since it's first release on the PS1 in 1998. (previous metal gear games released on Nintendo consoles) The fact of the matter is, the Xbox is an inferior machine, not bad if you don't mind settling for second best but if you want prestige then you had best join the rest of us on the peak of entertainment with a Playstation 3. And yes, L.A. Noire is out on both consoles

That was probably the douchiest ignorant fanboy comment I have ever seen.
PS3 has blu-ray? That makes life better, most games don't even take up a 9GB DVD so right now, and probably for a while longer, blu-ray isn't really needed for gaming.
PS3 has a more powerful processor: 7-core but using 4 of it's cores, but just like the blu-ray, you don't even need the tri-core processor in the Xbox, it's clocked at the same speed. Crysis 2 requires a 2GHz Dual core processor, proferably Athlon X2, the processor used in the 360 and PS3 is way more powerful (that's right, same processor).
GPU - Well, now, here's where it gets interesting with hardware. PS3 has a 256MB video memory. But Xbox 360 has a 512MB Graphics Card clocked at around the same speed.
The Xbox 360 is a more balanced console than the PS3 because 1. It uses it's whole processor, 2. It has a decent sized processor needed for todays gaming and will have a nice amount of power for even longer into the future.
I'm cool with having extra disks and installing them onto my HDD, I do anyway, it saves the disk and uses less power (The same with PS3)
Sure you have to pay for online but so many people I've spoke to who owns both much prefers the Xbox 360 community because we like to play games and socialise without having to be silly little fanboys.
And I'd like to see your sources on 80% of PS3 games selling more on PS3. My source would of course be wikipedia.
Thank you for the time you spent reading my message to you :) I hope I gave you insight.
Dajve Bikinus, guys at Sony have overtaken Xbox in tech because they went way, way to fast and now have a console that can not be improved, Xbox will be followed constantly in the future by other Microsoft consoles. Sadly PS3 can not be followed because Sony will find it very hard to improve on perfection.
Also the high tech stuff Sony includes in there console means games cost more to make for PS3 than Xbox.
I have both consoles, but have always been an Xbox supporter and i think Xbox have won in the battle of the consoles, simply because Xbox created a console bad enough that it can be followed.
Dajve you got treated by Chris! Oh by the way the playstation is so advanced it gets hacked and network is down over a month. Yea very superior.

er...it wasnt the playstation console which got hacked, it was the servers. Sony's loss of playstation owners data was through no fault of the console, it was entirely Sony's fault. I'm not mad on the whole fan boy rage, in fact i find the comments extremely amusing from both playstation and xbox fans. but dont criticise things based on situations you don't understand
