The latest revision for XYplorer (13.80) sports new features designed to improve the functionality of the application.

One of them is available only for the Pro edition of the file manager and consists in the possibility to assign more tags to a file. These can be anything from a text string of your choice, rating stars, date stamps or linked locations.

Five new columns can be enabled in the file list, allowing you to sort the data according to the tags. The new functionality enables you to find entries that share the same tag a lot faster.

Another modification, also relating to finding more relevant results at a much quicker rate, is available for the free edition as well and consists in the ability to find, focus and highlight files by just pasting their name in the file list, without running a search or applying filters.
