New features have been added to the latest major revision of XYplorer, which has reached build 13.70. There is little to think of that could increase the functionality of the application, but it appears that the developer managed to do just that.

The two new features present in XYplorer 13.70 are Sync Browse, which provides parallel browsing in dual-pane mode, and Shell Integration for displaying 64-bit shell extensions straight from the file manager.

Sync Browse has been designed to offer simultaneous browsing of the same folder at the same time, although it is present in two different locations.

It may appear useless, but the option should prove handy when browsing mirrored drives or trying to move/copy data; moreover, the feature works even if the two panels are in different view modes.

Shell integration of the 64-bit context menu is also an asset for those who want to see the 64-bit extensions.

Today, the developer rolled out a minor build of the application (13.70.0100), which takes care of minor glitches.
