Today, XYplorer received an important update, to version 12.60. This may seem like a minor revision but it packs plenty of new features that extend its functionality.

It brings to the table support for ZIP archives, but apart from creating and extracting the contents of such a file the developer also included a few related options, such as: "Drop into Zip", "Paste Into Zip", "Paste Extracted", "Paste Zipped", and "Zip Here".

On the same note, ZIP preview is supported as well; this permits fast and easy consecutive browsing of ZIP archives.

Additional improvements present in this release refer to Quick File View function, whose window can now stay open at all times, thus enabling you the preview just by clicking on the items.

Also new is the possibility to view the most common hash values (RC-32, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512) for the current file.

Download XYplorer; also available in portable form.
