XYplorer received a new update today. The latest release is a maintenance build (11.80.0100) with no fresh features. It focuses on tying up loose ends from the previous revision.

The developer did not introduce new features but instead worked on repairing an unspecified number of issues. Apart from this, users will notice that parts of the “Configuration” panel have been reorganized.

The previous release expanded the functionality of the application through features such as the ability to export the complete set of metadata of all files in a folder in CSV format and running a XYplorer script from an external program, which offers the possibility to remotely control the file manager.

XYplorer is a full-blown file manager that can function in single as well as in dual-pane mode. It is suitable for both novices and more seasoned users.
