The latest revision for XYplorer integrates three new features, designed to increase the functionality of the file manager without bloating it up.

XYplorer 11.50 brings to the table a new display style that can highlight groups of files, depending on the sorted column (switch the grid style to “Zebra Stripes: Highlighted Groups”).

This is useful if you want to find whether a folder contains items sharing certain attributes (size, type, name, modification or creation date).

Second on the list is ignoring diacritical marks. This is available for the following functions in order to find files with letters your keyboard cannot type easily: Find Files, Visual Filters, Color Filters, Spot and Jump, Type Ahead Find.

Last, the developer introduces a new contextual command that is designed to replace the contents of the selected file with the contents of the file currently in the clipboard.
