'This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship'. That must be the thought in everybody's mind, after hearing that the former music rivals have finally buried the hatchet. Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears are no longer arch-enemies and, as from yesterday, they will never be viewed like that by the public... The 'Ain't No Other Man' singer found out that Brit has given birth and decided to be the first to break the ice. So, she sent her a goodies basket as a means of congratulating the fallen pop star on occasion of the happy event in her life. She personally went to the posh baby boutique Petit Tresor, and handpicked the items that went into the basket. Among them were a set of porcelain crockery, a cuddly elephant, a hooded towel, slippers and a nightlight. For them, Christina took out of her pocket almost $500. She had the gift sent to Britney's house in Malibu, accompanied by a note saying 'Congratulations on the new addition to your family. Love, Christina and Jordan [her husband]'. Now, what next? Maybe a music collaboration once Britney makes her comeback?
