Indian OEM XOLO plans to launch another Android smartphone very soon, the Q1100. The device has already been listed on the company’s website, but it wasn’t officially introduced in India.

According to fonearena, XOLO Q1100 might hit shelves at major retailers across the country within the next few days. The smartphone will be available for purchase in Black color for only Rs 14,999 ($240 / €175) outright.

The Q1100 is a mid-range smartphone that offers quite decent features for its price. Aside from offering dual-SIM (GSM / GSM) with dual-standby support, XOLO Q1100 is said to charge 75% faster than other smartphones thanks to the Quick Charge feature.

Another selling point of the phone might be the fact that it comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, which makes it easier to update it to Android 4.4 KitKat in the future if XOLO plans on doing it.

Specs-wise, XOLO Q1100 comes equipped with a more than decent 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

There are only 8GB of storage inside, but users will be able to further expand internal memory up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, the smartphone packs an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper that features autofocus, LED flash, BSI sensor and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front, it sports a 2-megapixel camera for video calls.

The Q1100’s 5-inch display is another strong point of the smartphone. It supports HD (720p) resolution and features OGS technology.

Other highlights of the XOLO Q1100 include HSPA+ and HSUPA connectivity, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with A-GPS support. It’s also worth mentioning that the smartphone is powered by a 2250 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
