NVIDIA has just announced its new powerful Tegra K1 processor, capable of delivering notebook performance on mobile devices, at CES 2014.

Nevertheless, the company is currently putting its Tegra Note 7 model on the market, which is sold through third-party partners like XOLO.

The tablet runs a 1.8 GHz quad-core NVIDA Tegra 4 CPU with 72 Core NVIDIA GeForce GPU. It has a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and has Android 4.2 as default operating system onboard.

Now the guys of Fonearena have performed some benchmarks on the Xolo Play Tegra Note, to showcase the tablet’s performance.

For example, the Tegra scored 38,139 in AnTuTu (a combination of CPU, Memory and Graphics tests), topping Qualcomm’s development tablet, Sony Xperia Tablet Z or ASUS’ Nexus 7 2013.

Moving on, in the Vellamo 2 HTML 5 test (which determines overall web browsing performance), the Tegra managed to score top position overtaking the ASUS Nexus 7 2013 or Samsung Galaxy Note 8.3

In the Quadrant Benchmarks, the Tegra lost the battle to Qualcomm’s development tablet (20,808 points) by scoring only 16,163. Nonetheless, it managed to perform better than most quad-core tablets.
