XOLO LT900 went on pre-order in India more than a week ago and the Indian OEM promised the smartphone will be available before year's end.

According to AndroidOS, India's second smartphone to offer 4G support is now available for purchase from Flipkart for only Rs 16,745 ($270 / €195) outright.

That's a pretty low price for a 4G-enabled smartphone, but the reason might be the fact that customers can't really use LTE data speeds unless they use an Airtel SIM card and live in areas where 4G coverage is available.

Unfortunately, for the time being, there are only a handful of cities in India that have 4G coverage, which will probably hurt XOLO LT900 sales.

Anyway, beside the LTE support, XOLO LT900 provides users with lots of other interesting features which definitely justifies its price.

First of all, the smartphone is powered by a more than decent dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

XOLO LT900 sports microSD card slot for memory expansion (up 32GB), as well as 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

On the back, the handset packs an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 1-megapixel camera for video calls.

Other highlights of the phone include: 3.5mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, as well as FM Radio.

The LT900 is powered by an 1810 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 15 hours (14 hours in 3G mode) of talk time and 362 hours (301 hours in 3G mode) of standby time.

Software-wise, XOLO LT900 ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and lots of popular apps, including Skype, BigFlix and Kepplr Cloud Space.
