Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel and XFX have been collaborating to roll out a new series of video cards for quite a while. It seems that the high performance parts will take a while longer to compete but until then we've just heard that the mainstream 7600GT card debuted today with specs that will probably get her the crown of the 7600 kingdom.

"This card proves that teaming XFX technology with the hardcore gamer's demands results in performance that buyers literally haven't seen before. With Fatal1ty doing his best to challenge our capabilities as a development team, and our efforts to impress and outperform his expectations, the card not only stuns visually, it delivers the goods in efficiency and state-of-the art performance. It is truly for gamers by gamers," claims Eddie Memon, Vice President of XFX.

The Fatal1ty 7600GT is clocked 14% higher than Nvidia's official clock frequencies and that translates into higher frame rates and benchmark results. Moreover, the card utilizes XFX's proprietary stealth heatpipe cooling technology, known as Silent But Deadly?. It runs without a standard fan but cools with more efficiency due to the distribution of heat from the GPU the aluminum fins that lie outside the card's surface.

"The graphics card you use in gaming can make or break your performance, which is why I decided to work with XFX to come up with a product that really meets what a professional gamer needs. I work hard to be the best at what I do and continue to improve my game. XFX feels the same about developing and manufacturing top quality products. This card shows what happens when a company listens to the end-user of their product, which is exactly what I wanted and what the buyer deserves," says Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel.

Dual-Link Technology is present on XFX's product and that enables digital output up to 2560x1600 for the largest and highest resolution flat panel display devices that support Dual DVI inputs. The card can output HD content at 1080i resolution and is SLI ready. The product also comes with Double Lifetime Warranty, which means that whoever buys the used card can also benefit from the warranty.
