Back in late 2008, XFX, one of the largest manufacturers of NVIDIA-based graphics cards, announced that it would begin its collaboration with AMD's graphics subsidiary, ATI. Following the much-rumored announcement, the graphics card maker was expected to also debut its first ATI Radeon-based graphics cards, coming to provide its users with an alternative to the GeForce ones already available on the market. Up to this moment, such products have failed to make their presences felt, but according to the latest round of leaked details, the company is ready to ship said cards.

XFX is yet to officially release its new graphics cards, powered by an ATI Radeon graphics processor. However, some of the expected cards appear to have been leaked on the Internet, as they have been listed on a German-language online store. In total, seven cards have been listed, ranging from low-end to high-end performance. ATI's Radeon HD4350, two HD4650, an HD4830, an HD4850 and two HD4870 have been listed, prices ranging from €40 to approximately €260.

There are just a few details available on the specifications of the new cards, but it appears that the company is close to releasing the cards on the market. According to the available pictures, one of the two HD 4870 cards will be using the AMD reference cooler, while the HD 4850 comes with a completely new cooler, designed by XFX. The same cooler is expected to be featured on one of the entry-level cards, the XFX Radeon HD 4830.

There are no details as to when the new products will become available for purchase, but users and fans should keep a close eye on the market. With these new cards, XFX tries to bring a good price/performance ratio to its customers. With the move, the company joins another graphics card maker that was used to provide cards exclusively built on NVIDIA GeForce graphics processors.
