While its relationship with NVIDIA may have cooled, XFX seems to be putting more effort into its power supply business, as appears to be shown by how it has now revealed the Pro Series of non-modular models.

Since there are already a bunch of PSUs aimed at the high-end end enthusiast markets, XFX decided to settle for something more common and affordable.

As such, it designed the Pro Series with a single 12V rail and did not make them modular, although it did put effort into power efficiency, among other things.

For one, the newcomers boast the EasyRail technology, which maximizes the power delivered by the aforementioned 12V rail.

“Unique, continuous EasyRail technology enables you to maximize available power and makes set-up easy,” states the press release.

“With the XFX single rail solution, stack numerous power-hungry components, such as your GPU, CPU and others, without fear of crashing. It’s also a perfect solution for hardcore gamers,” the release added.

XFX also used 105°C Japanese capacitors, which boost stability and the overall endurance of the computer part.

What's more, all models currently available, three in number to be exact, have earned 80Plus Bronze rating thanks to their efficiency of up to 85 percent.

Not only that, but the company even used sleeved cables, to prevent deterioration, as well as a 135mm fan to keep the inside of the unit within acceptable thermal limits.

“XFX PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power,” states the announcement.

The series is composed of a 650 W model, a version with an output of 750 W and, finally, one whose wattage is of 850 W.

All of them are backed up by a five-year warranty and have prices of £67, £73 and £82, respectively.
