14 DAY TRIAL // Developers 2K Marin and publisher Take Two seem to be moving closer to a reboot announcement for the much troubled XCOM-themed shooter as the official website of the game is taken offline and all previously released videos are being eliminated from the web.
The XCOM site currently offers just an error and the videos that were released in 2011 are no longer accessible.
A representative of the publisher says that it currently wants to offer no official comment on the XCOM situation.
The shooter was first announced in 2010 and was supposed to arrive one year later, but it was repeatedly delayed and rumors suggest that the development team had trouble delivering a quality experience.
The rebranding might involve the name The Bureau, which was first rumored during March, and more focus on mystery as the core gameplay element.
