The development team at Firaxis and publisher 2K Games are already ready to reveal the cover for their upcoming XCOM: Enemy Within, which will expand the strategy-oriented game that was launched in 2011.

The cover, courtesy of AllGamesBeta, is using the same orange color scheme that has been present since the game was first teased and shows new members of the team that are enhanced using the genetic and mech options of the expansion.

Enemy Within is designed to add 40 new battle maps to the core game and a number of new features that Firaxis says will double the time a player can spend with one full campaign.

The name also implies that gamers will have to fight other human squads that are controlled by the invading aliens.

XCOM: Enemy Within will be launched on the PC, the Xbox 360, and the PlayStation 3 in November.
