XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the famous title developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games, might get a Linux launch very soon.

2K games is among the first major publishers that have announced their intention to support SteamOS and, implicitly, the Linux platform.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a turn-based strategy game in which the player controls a squad of soldiers against an alien invasion that takes place worldwide.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the CDR Database and by no means is it completely certain. The CDR Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries in the Steam database are first visible in the CDR Database before their official launch.
