XCOM: Enemy Unknown Gets Last Hope Launch Trailer

Developer Firaxis and publisher 2K Games have released a launch trailer for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the strategy game that allows players to control the only force which can save Earth from an alien invasion.

The trailer is pretty action-packed and shows both enemies and weapons that the players will not get to meet and use before they will have played a significant portion of the game.

XCOM is designed to appeal to both the hardcore strategy lovers that appreciate the classic series with a similar name and to newcomers who are looking for a fast paced and well-designed modern title.

Despite the fact that this is a launch trailer the game will only be available on October 9 in North America and three days later in Europe.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be playable on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and the PC, with some extra graphics and user interface options for those who use the platform.
