Developer Firaxis has created an interesting new trailer for the upcoming XCOM: Enemy Unknown strategy game, which is designed to allow players to make a number of choices that influence the action and show how the game will handle the same situation when it is actually launched.

The new game is designed to use the same themes and core mechanics as the classic from the ‘90s, but Firaxis is upgrading quite a bit of the features, making the game easier to play for those who engage with it for the first time and offering more options to veterans of the series.

The new XCOM uses Unreal Engine 3 to make the action attractive and the development team has also added multiplayer in order to allow gamers to test their tactical skills against each other.

The game will be launched on the PC and on home consoles starting with October 9 in North America and three days later in Europe.
