XBMC 12.3 "Frodo" Gets Fixes from Upcoming 13.0 Gotham Version

This latest version of XBMC will also run on some Android devices

XBMC, an open source (GPL) software media player and entertainment hub for digital media that is available for multiple platforms, is now at version 12.3.

XBMC 12.3 has been dubbed Frodo is a maintenance release and comes with a few changes and backports, among other fixes.

“The list of fixes contain several bug fixes that are back-ported from the ongoing development from our 13.0 Gotham release. The list only contains fixes that are deemed critical and are relatively easy to apply to the Frodo 12.2 release without risking stability regressions,” reads the official announcement.

Also, the PVR addons have been updated, several PVR related bugs have been corrected, a number of memory leaks have been corrected, and more.
