The demo in question was supposed to be made available on Xbox Live Marketplace as early as Monday, this week. However, Microsoft had some problems to solve with the service (they'd previously announced they would shut down the service for 4 hours, for maintenance
and stuff) and so, only today has the electronics giant been able to make the demo available for download.

As xboxic.com confirms, the Tony Hawk's Proving Ground Demo weighs in at around 1GB so do be careful what you're prepping to delete on your limited Xbox 360's hard drive. As for the rating, you need to be at least 13 to play the demo, as it's been rated T for Teen (ALCOHOL REFERENCE, LANGUAGE, TOBACCO REFERENCE, VIOLENCE).

The demo is of course free for everyone, except for Asia's gamers but not because they decided to charge Asians for it, but because they didn't make it available for the respective continent. Bummer Asian dudes... OK, here's what you'll find in the demo, according to the description up on Xboxic:

In Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, you create your own story. This authentic skating experience gives you the freedom to truly define your character, story and style based on the choices you make, the path you select and the styles of skating you choose. In the demo, skate through Philadelphia as you experience new features like the video editor, Nail the Grab, modify the environment and more! Then get the full game to explore the entire world and master all the new skills. Every skater has a story. Step onto the Proving Ground and create yours.

Again, Tony Hawk's Proving Ground is already up for grabs up on Xbox Live Marketplace, priced at nothing and weighing in at around 1GB (1.04 GB to be precise).

Quite a few demos launched in the past two weeks, huh? Well, for both Microsoft's XBLM and Sony's PSN put together anyway (from a news editor's perspective).
