Did you know that
Xbox Live Arcade had a population mark of six million users until
June 2007? Well, it did. Thing is, it has reached that mark, four months ahead. It sounds like great news for Microsoft but it's not that great actually because plugging an ethernet cord
into your
Xbox 360 to get a Silver account for downloading demos counts you as a user. This official announcement from Microsoft also includes a momentum list for statistic freaks.
Questions like "Did you know that there are 2 million
messages sent over Xbox Live every day?" can be found in it and the way the sentence is formulated makes it sound like a world record or something, but in fact, it is pretty normal. Nobody's questioning the fact that XBLA is enjoying a good dose of popularity but it isn't any reason to pop the Champaign. Ok, all this being said, how about some trivia saying "did you know that XBLA has 'this many' gold accounts?"
Now that would be something to count for, yet
Microsoft isn't giving details on gold accounts, so again-not a big deal. Still, there is good reason for you to read the fact sheet below. It starts out with saying: "More than 10 million Xbox 360s have hit store shelves since launch in November 2005, and more than 160 high definition games are now available, including Viva Piņata, Gears of War and Crackdown." Check that one out too, you may find more interesting details concerning the 360, other than XBLA has reached the 6 million members mark, 4 months ahead.
