Namco Bandai of America has recently made the exciting announcement that they've released the official demo for Eternal Sonata, on Xbox LIVE. Silver and Gold members (oi thank you...!) are able to get the much anticipated demo via Xbox LIVE's Marketplace. The full game launches September 17th this year, for Microsoft's Xbox 360.

Eternal Sonata follows the adventures of famed composer Frederic Chopin as he travels through a mysterious world where the lines between dreams and reality are blurred, goes the game's official description. Featuring an innovative hybrid real-time and turn-based combat system, lush environments, and an epic storyline of redemption and self-discovery, Eternal Sonata sets itself apart from all other role-playing game experiences on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

At the E3 Business & Media Summit this year, Eternal Sonata was nominated by the E3 Game Critics Awards for Best Role-Playing Game. Namco is awfully proud of their achievements, as you can imagine, giving Makoto Iwai the confidence to make the following statement:

"Eternal Sonata is a game that immerses players in a world as rich and vibrant as the music of Chopin," said Makoto Iwai, Executive Vice President and COO, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. "The release of the demo marks the chance for gamers to finally experience this incredibly detailed and nuanced world, and we're confident that they'll be spellbound from the start."

One question for you, dear gamer: out of the whole bunch of games launching this September for your Xbox 360 system, which one exactly are you going to go for? I'm sure you're currently saving money to get yourself Halo 3 and later on GTA IV, but isn't it a little "scary" to see all these great titles launching at the same time? There are at least 10 of them worth saving money for. Is this a great time to own a 360 or what?

So remember, the demo for Eternal Sonata is currently up on XBL Marketplace waiting for you to grab it as soon as possible, while the full version of the game is set to be released on Monday, September 17th, 2007. See the game's official website for more information.
