Imagine Entertainment has put Brett Ratner in charge of and untitled heist drama being planned as a screen vehicle for comedy-legends Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock, according to Variety.
Adam Cooper and Bill Collage are in talks to write the screenplay, while Brian Grazer is said to be the producer of the project which is currently untitled.
The plot of story, which revolves around two blue-collar workers who aspire to pull off the perfect heist, is rumored to have come out of a meeting between Grazer and Murphy, who have collaborated in the past on films like "The Nutty Professor" and "Bowfinger".
Eddie Murphy wanted to work with Chris Rock, who is coming off "The Longest Yard" and voicing "Madagascar".
Meanwhile, Brat Ratner (Rush Hour and Money Talks) is set to start filming on "X-Men 3".
