Looking every inch the classic goddess, Elle sounded like one as well, trying her incredible pipes on Minnie Riperton’s classic “Lovin’ You,” a very challenging tune in more ways than one.
However, what makes the song all the more difficult is the F-sharp descending note which, as Gary Barlow duly remarked, Ella hit perfectly.
“What a risk you took. The F-sharp descending. you completely nailed it. It paid off. Another great week for you,” he gushed in sincere praise.
Nicole Scherzinger too was blown away by Ella’s incredible talent and just as amazing stage presence, noting she had a very timeless quality about her.
“The difference between you and so many other artists is you are timeless and classic. You're a timeless goddess tonight,” she said.
Viewers will decide if Ella returns next Saturday for another amazing performance, with the results of their vote being announced tonight, on the eliminations show.
