It could be argued that the TV show X Factor UK is beginning to lose its “Wow Factor,” seeing as how the finale for the latest season has become the lowest rated season-ending, since the series began in 2005.

The show created by Simon Cowell revolves around singing and discovering new talents while putting on intricate performances to woo audiences.

Apart from contestants, there are also lots of international singers invited from time to time, which might explain the high popularity of “X Factor.”

The finale for the 10th season has managed to draw in an average 9.7 million viewers, whereas the finale from the 2011 season reached 13.1 million and the one in 2010 went up to 17.2 million viewers.

That was an all-time high for the singing show that featured the talents of Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh as judges.

ITV, the network behind the X Factor has recently renewed the contract to continue the show for three more years.
