Cher Lloyd is the latest “singing sensation” discovered on X Factor auditions: after impressing judges with her take on “Turn My Swag On” earlier this year, she made it through to the next round, but insiders say she may crack at any point.

Cher is only 16 years old and may not cope with the pressure that comes with taking part in such a huge competition as X Factor is, inside sources say for the Daily Mail.

Earlier this year, as seen in footage premiered just recently, Cher confidently strutted on stage to perform for her chance at a proper music career.

Less than two minutes later, she was already a favorite with both judges and audiences, with Cheryl Cole even telling her she was the best audition she’d seen so far.

Now, production insiders tell the aforementioned tabloid that Cher can’t possibly cope with this much pressure, with the first signs of it already being visible in her already shrinking frame.

“Everyone was worried about Cher, she was extremely nervous and shaking at some points,” one source says for the Mail of how Cher appeared at bootcamp audition, which are yet to air on TV.

“She is quite bolshy on stage, but she sat by herself at lunch. She didn’t eat much and looked frail and vulnerable as she was accompanied by a member of production,” the same insider reveals.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see how “frail and vulnerable” Cher is, which means producers will have to pay her “extra attention” if she makes the cut and ends up in the live show.

“If she gets through to the live shows next month – which she is a shoo-in for – she will have to be given a bit of extra special attention. She is very young,” the spy says.

However, producers are adamant all those who need extra help in coping with pressure receive it from start to finish – and Cher is just fine right now.

“We take great care with our contestants and ensure that they can cope with the strain that comes with taking part on the X Factor,” a source close to the producers says for the same publication.

“Yes, Cher is small, but we would never allow anyone on the show who we have concerns about. When the contestants are that bit younger, we do realize we have to take that bit of extra care,” the spy explains.

Below is the video of Cher Lloyd performing on the first round auditions for X Factor.
