Producers are doing everything they can to embarrass aspiring contestants, allegedly

Few of us still believe that what we see on TV isn’t to some extent scripted or edited in a certain, slanted way. A show choir named H2O says that there’s nothing real about X Factor, for which they auditioned recently.

According to Reality TV Magazine, the members of the choir wanted to perform “Some Nights” by Fun, on the X Factor auditions, but they were told at the last minute that their choice had not been approved.

They covered instead a Florence + The Machine song, only to have meanie Simon Cowell berate them for their choice.

He also told them they should have worn their school uniforms, which, the choir says, they were specifically prohibited from doing.

H2O is asking for an apology from the producers for being “set up” and made to look bad on purpose.

I don’t think they’ll be getting it any time soon.

“The group had the chance of performing two songs for judges. The judges didn’t think they were good enough to move forward in this competition,” the producers say in a statement.
