X-Evian is a Live-CD based on the popular Ubuntu Linux distribution, but X-Evian has Xfce as desktop environment. X-Evian is a selection and compilation which has been carefully chosen and configured for technological and social production and activist users.

X-Evian is an easy preconfigured way of introducing the user to the best of the resources of this Debian Linux distribution.

It comes in two languages, Spanish and English. Spanish is the default language, but you can boot the livecd with the English language if you type the following cheat code at boot promt: live lang=en. This edition of X-Evian LiveCD seeks to explicitly support copyleft philosophy, motivations and practices. Therefore, it includes an organized selection of copyleft materials (chats, texts, manuals, etc.).
