This seems to be a beta version made available for the public

Wunderlist, the free cloud-sync task manager popular on Android and iOS platforms, has just made its debut on the Windows Phone operating system.

However, if you expect a smooth, bug-free experience while using Wunderlist on the Windows Phone platform, you will be disappointed. The application was published on Windows Phone Store yesterday, but it was quickly pulled for unknown reasons.

It’s worth mentioning that the developers only released a beta version of Wunderlist initially, which did not seem to be available for the public. Still, some Windows Phone users were able to download the application before the publisher pulled it from the Windows Phone Store.

Well, it looks like the beta version of Wunderlist is back on Windows Phone Store and ready to be downloaded by anyone carrying a compatible smartphone.

Speaking of which, it appears that the application is not compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 7.x. Even though you might be able to download and install the application, Wunderlist does not seem to work at all on smartphones running older versions of Windows Phone.

It’s unclear whether or not this is due to the fact that the application is still in beta and it only works on a limited number of devices, but we will probably find out more in the coming weeks as developers push more updates that will fix some of the issues users have already started to report.

Anyway, the application is free, and Windows Phone users who are willing to test it can now download it via Windows Phone Store. But before that, here are some of the highlights of the beta version:

- Cloud sync - Your tasks are synced with your free Wunderlist account; - Email reminders - Ensure your tasks never slip your mind; - Mail2Task - Send tasks to Wunderlist from your email inbox; - Organize - Sort your tasks into lists; - Due Dates - Assign deadlines to your tasks; - Focus - View a breakdown of your tasks with our filter views; - Notes - Give your tasks further detail; - Prioritize - Star important tasks; - Personalize - Make Wunderlist your own with our included background wallpapers.

Keep in mind that, while Wunderlist is available for free, users can upgrade to Wunderlist Pro in order to get some premium features, like unlimited assigning, pro backgrounds, as well as removal of size limits.

You can now download Wunderlist for Windows Phone 1.3.0.0 for free via Windows Phone Store. The application is listed as being compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
