A pleasant surprise from the Wu-Tang has caught most fans by surprise as the group has just released a brand new song called “Keep Watch” with vocals from singer Nathaniel and produced by the group's longtime collaborator DJ Mathematics.

Upon carefully listening to the new song, you can make out the rapping of several of the members of the hip-hop group, including Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna and the GZA, while Nathaniel provides the musical chorus line.

The band chose to go with a combination of low-key guitars and thudding drums as a musical background for their lyrics which seem to perfectly suit the track, “Keep watch/ Lights out when the beat drop/ Keepin the streets locked/ I'm callin' all G's from each block, from each block,” goes the song.

Interestingly, shortly after the song came out, DJ Mathematics revealed that it wasn't the finished version, but rather a working adaptation that he thinks was released by mistake, “It feels good, but at the same time the version that they put out, that's actually the wrong version. That's not the mixed and mastered version, so I just hit 'em so I am trying to get that up right now so everybody can get the real feel of it.”

He also added, “Other than that, it feels great. It was just good to work with brothers again,” and his opinion seems to be shared by the eager fans who immediately praised it as one of the group's better efforts.

“Keep Watch” gives fans a notion of how the “A Better Tomorrow” album will sound. It was initially supposed to come out last year, but it was pushed to June of this year. It featured all of the members of the band, except Raekwon.
