The computer peripherals manufacturing company genius announced the launch of its new G-Pen F610 tablet that sports a larger working area than older models as well as a cordless design. As pen tablets are offering better precision than a computer mouse is able to deliver, they are very popular when it comes to handwriting, drawing, sketching or even hand signing
emails.

The Genius G-Pen F610 tablet has a working area of 6 by 10 inches that closely resembles the aspect ratio of flat and wide computer screens that are more and more used these days. A number of twenty nine programmable hot keys can be used as shortcuts for selecting different functions from Office like programs, Internet browsers and Windows functions. The cordless pen frees users of the constant bother of a data transmitting piece of wire and it too features two buttons and a high sensitivity pressure sensor with reading 1024 levels, which allows users to control the shape and thickness of the drawn forms. Additionally, the two pen buttons can be used in a similar manner to the buttons found on a mouse. Users need not to worry about battery life as the pen integrates energy saving technologies that allows it to operate for a whole year with just one battery, while the integrated into the tablet's body pen holder keeps the pen always near you and secures it between uses.

The Genius tablet is completely compliant with the "Plug and Play" Windows standard that allows it to immediately interact with the host computer system through a high speed USB port. It supports several operation systems like Microsoft's Windows 2000, XP and Vista as well as Macintosh machines running OS X 10.2.8+. The tablet offers a high fidelity as it features an increase level of reads per second: 125.
Users just have to plug the tablet into an USB port in order to enjoy the Vista's "functions like personal note taking, email signing, handwriting recognition, handwritten emails and pen flick navigation", according to the product's Web page.
