Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, aka The Woz, has won his first ever Dancing with the Stars dance off, following the announcement that couple Belinda Carlisle and Jonathan Roberts was leaving the competition on Tuesday evening.

Woz was "suspicious that the true voting numbers, both from telephone and online voting, are never revealed,” leading him to believe that had been “forced into the two-couple dance-off, just to boost ratings," Chris Matyszczyk reported for CNET before the show.

“The producers play games to get viewers and don't disclose the numbers,” Woz wrote in an e-mail to his Facebook Support Group. “If they disclosed the numbers, it would be less of a game, but still suspect. If tomorrow, they claim I'm in the bottom 2 dance teams, including viewer votes, I believe that it's an outright lie,” he said, accusing the producers of getting him to say things. “They will have some small video tomorrow of me saying things that I strongly told them I don't believe. They will also shoot me in a one-hour rehearsal tomorrow with my partner, but I'll keep calling the idea of my being in the bottom 2, after audience participation, a lie.”

Woz has since updated his Facebook notes on the show, admitting he was wrong about producers rigging the show, as the team gave him a tour of the vote count configuration, and a complete briefing. Learning of the integrity of the whole voting process, TUAW reports, The Woz has openly, and publicly apologized for his freak-out, promising to behave better in the future.

Steve Wozniak has had a rough start as a contestant on America's popular TV show, Dancing with the Stars, with professional dancer Karina Smirnoff at his side, constantly supporting him. On their last performance, which Steve had to go through with an injured foot, the judges gave the couple 17 points. Not surprisingly, however, the public was warm during the dance, and up on their feet, cheering at the end of the performance.

You gotta love The Woz!

He really thinks that he is a good dancer and shouldn't have been in the bottom two - what an ego. I hope he will not be the next Cloris Leachman on the show.
