Although it's winter now, there's no need for us to give up being in style in favor of being warm and cozy when we can do them both. I present you the sweater-dresses, very practical and trendy at the same time. I for one love them. Really, I do. They can be worn in so many ways and even if they don't show much skin (almost at all), they can still get you in the center of attention and the admiration of others for your creativity and originality in pairing them with other clothing articles.
Who wears it better? Our picture shows three stars wearing the same sweater and besides the fashion faux, we should check out their styles. First, there is
Bridget Moynahan who wears the grey sweater with black leggings and black boots. Underneath the sweater she has a black blouse and a long necklace carelessly hangs from her neck. So we have a combination of black and grey. Simple but effective in my opinion as she is going for the natural look. Her hairdo and make-up come to confirm my suspicion.
The second look is the one that
Sandra Bullock sports, the same sweater included of course. The actress chose to pair it with black leggings and boots also but she added a black belt with silver points and matching bag. The black shades and the belt give a kinda bad girl allure. I must say that I believe that it works pretty well for the "
Speed" star. I just might speed to buy such a belt…
The last way of wearing the sweater-dress is brought by "
The Hills" star-
Heidi Montag that suggests beige boots and a white blouse to go with the grey of the sweater. Even if these are different colors, they complement each other just fine. A big black bag comes to "break" all those warm colors (white and beige) but not in a disagreeable manner. Opposed to the previous celebs that had their hair tied, Heidi lets it loose. I think that gives an aura of liberty to the outfit, casual and "perspiring" the cuteness and vitality of youth.
ConclusionThis time I have to say that we have not one but
three winners. That's right, three styles equally fashionable and interesting. I give a big hand to all three women as they have provided three different original ways of including a sweater in an innovative and trendy outfit. Still, I would play a little and attach Heidi's bag to Bridget's outfit and the beige boots to Sandra's look to take a little of its toughness and make it more… chic shall I say? Mhm…the possibilities may be endless so it's up to you from now on. Enjoy!
