Apple's store in New York is the first to get customers for the iPhone 6

Yes, just like every year, there are people standing in line in front of an Apple store so that they can have an iPhone 6 the moment it launches. Call them Apple fanboys and fangirls, call them crazy, but they won't leave the line.

The problem with that idea is that Apple will only announce the iPhone 6 on September 9, but the next-generation iDevices will not make the stores until September the 19, most probably. Even then, the iPhone will not be available for everyone in the queue because Apple usually reserves some of the devices for people who order them online.

But that doesn't bother them at all. A few people got their lounge chairs and umbrellas and went next to Apple's famous 5th Avenue retail store in New York City.

The good news for them is that the weather is New York is pretty good throughout the next week with highs during the day up to 84F (32 degrees Celsius) and lows, during the night, of 65F (19 degrees Celsius).

Now, most of these people are staying in line to get an iPhone 6, but if Apple releases an iWatch, they may be the first to get it. Unless the Cupertino, California-based Tech giant puts that in stores sometimes next year.
