Would You...

The fashion world nowadays offers a great variety of items to be worn, styles, trends, advices, suggestions. Presented with so many opportunities, we find ourselves in a blockage and sometimes, we simply don't know what to choose. I want to give some examples of trends and maybe, you will find a style that would suit you. So…

Would you or would you not sport this?

Hats
I'm sure you have seen all sorts of hats worn by many celebs this season. From fedoras to derby hats and newsboy caps, they have all become extremely fashionable and it seems like stars as Sienna Miller, Mary Kate Olsen, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan come to prove that. And what about bowlers? Keira Knightley has worn her bowler all season long, throughout her entire vacation. What do you think about retro men's hats brought back for women?

Bangs
Oh, that is a trend alright and I'm saying that just by looking at my girlfriends, not to mention the celebrities that went for that look. Paris was one the first to adopt it and the latest seems to be Hilary Swank who debuted this trend at the Los Angeles premiere of her film, Freedom Writers. Are you ready to wear bangs? In my opinion, I think that you should ask a stylist before cutting your hair like that because even if you love this look, it might not go well with your facial features and you might commit a stupidity that would make you look worse than before.

The schoolgirl look
Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears and Janet Jackson have all sported this look and I have to say it's not that bad, especially the way they worked the necktie this year. I truly believe menswear can look chic on women. Whether you make it more classic or costumey, it can provide a cool, original outfit.

Heavy metal
I have spoken not long ago about Cate Blanchett's outfit that gave the impression of "androgyny". And she made it work, no doubt about it! Metallic gray Armani pantsuit and stiff hairstyle. Niiice! The actress has succeeded in translating the haute couture from the runway to the red carpet. By wearing this, she just might become the next trendsetter. Still, this is not about Cate; it's about the trend of metallic colors. Be careful how you wear them though, they can be tricky.

The bubble
This trend is everywhere and on everyone. It can look gorgeous or not. Depends on the model you choose and your body shape. For instance, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz "rocked" in grace these past few days by wearing black bubble dresses. On the other hand, I'm not too sure about Beyonce as the latest bubble I've seen on her seemed to add some inches to her hips and that's not a good thing.

Animal prints
Seems like animal prints of almost any sort have come back. For instance, you could wear an animal print piece with black and match it with a dark denim or with neutral separates. If you have an animal print dress, pair it with opaque tights. You can also go with leopard print coats like Britney and Christina or animal print pumps like Beyonce's. The most wanted prints seem to be the tiger prints, leopard and zebra prints.

Of course that there a lot of styles for which you could go, but I shall present them as they come along. For now, that was it. Would you or wouldn't you wear them?
