The display market has been constantly growing, with more than enough monitors and TVs having been revealed over the past few weeks alone, and it seems that the influx of displays is not over, with Wortmann AG having now unveiled the Terra LCD 4319 Greenline Plus.

Most of the monitors unveiled so far have placed special emphasis on image quality, which meant that they had high contrast ratios and resolutions.

As such, they mostly aimed for the professional market, such as professional designers that need high color gamuts, or gaming.

The new product that Wortmann AG has come up with, however, seems to be more focused on affordability and power efficiency.

What this means is that it sacrifices come of its potential video output capabilities in favor of a lower price point and lower power draw.

As such, instead of implementing a panel with Full HD support, Wortmann reportedly settled for 1,280 x 1,024 pixels.

The newcomer also features a brightness of 250 cd/m2, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1, plus a response time of 5ms.

Furthermore, its maker threw in built-in speakers, a VESA mount, VGA and DVI inputs and viewing angles of 170 degrees horizontal and 160 degrees vertical.

All in all, this product comes across as a fairly mid-end electronic, at least as far as actual performance is concerned.

Nevertheless, the Terra LCD 4319 Greenline Plus still has its advantages, such as an Energy Saving panel that can work on up to 50 percent less power than other solutions.

In fact, this latest Terra series model is TCO 5.0-certified and consumes just 18W during regular operation, while the standby mode can boast of eating up even less than 1W.

The Wortmann AG LCD 4319 Greenline Plus sells along with a three-year warranty and has a price of 199 Euro.
