This seems to be the week of low-key hardware, when even monitors don't bother meeting the normal standards.

The NEC AS192WM is one example of a low-end display, and the Wortmann AG 22-inch Terra LED 2230W Greenline Plus is another.

The brightness of 250 cd/m2 and the response time of 5ms are decent enough, as is the DCR (dynamic contrast ratio) of 15,000,000:1 (determined clarity of low-light scenes, while the room with display is dark).

The lack of HDMI (only DVI and D-Sub ports exist) can be understandable, since this is a business-oriented panel. The resolution could have been better though.

Even though 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) is easy enough to implement, Wortmann AG has decided that 1680 x 1050 is enough here.

Wortmann AG expects buyers to pay €199 / $199-255 for the Terra LED 2230W Greenline Plus.
