Intel released its second generation of Intel Core central processing units weeks ago and, with so many PC makers unveiling systems based on them, Wortmann AG decided to do the same.

Wortmann AG, like all other PC makers, has been unleashing new laptops on a regular basis for many months now.

Thus, it is not at all surprising to hear that the new Intel Sandy Bridge processors found a new home in its notebooks.

More specifically, as revealed in a new report made by Techconnect Magazine, two such laptops have been created.

As one would expect, they are additions to their maker's existing Terra Mobile series and, in this case, are aimed at business users instead of regular consumers.

Their names are Terra Mobile 1562 and 1586, both of them featuring display sizes of 15.6 inches.

The exact Core Series central processing units found inside the machines were not revealed, but they, or course, bring all the benefits of a 32nm chip with built-in graphics.

Regardless, 4GB of RAM are available, as is a hard disk drive with a storage capacity of 500 GB.

What's more, the Terra Mobile 1586 has the added benefit of a latest-generation NVIDIA mobile GPU, which is a GeForce 500M series.

Other specifications include a DVD writer, LAN, WiFi, a multi-card reader and all the other expected I/O ports (USB, audio etc.).

There is no clear idea on when the newcomers are supposed to start showing up online, but the report expects them to become available either by late February or early March, 2011.

Finally, both machines are pre-loaded with the Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit operating system and will have to contend with competition from ASUS, HP, Acer, Dell, Toshiba and all other IT player that have and will continue to deal in newer and better systems.
