14 DAY TRIAL // A few days ago, Caitlin Heller shot to international fame via a viral video of herself trying to twerk a la Miley Cyrus, failing and falling through a glass table, and setting herself on fire. As it turns out, the video was just a hoax.
And it was a very elaborate one, put together by none other than Jimmy Kimmel himself, as the video above will confirm.
So no, the girl’s name isn’t Caitlin Heller and no, she wasn’t trying to twerk her way into her boyfriend’s heart with a homemade video.
She was actually paid by Kimmel to shoot the video about a couple of months ago, and then had to keep everything a secret while he waited to see if his little experiment caught on.
It did just that: right now, the video has over 9.3 million views. Kimmel says they didn’t even send it to TV stations, they just uploaded it on YouTube and waited to see if it got picked up.
